Workout

Back to Square One...yet Determined!!

M.  Didn't time it, but around about 30-minute workout.  Forgot my Tai Chi warm up.  That's what happens when you're out of practice.

2:00 cardio warm up, then the "Build a strong core" workout, 3 sets @ 20 seconds on & 10 seconds rest each:  1) dumbbell twists, 2) posture squats, 3) standing leg raises, 4) side bridge sweeps, and 5) core climbers with twists.  Stretches, then 5 sun salutes.

Felt great getting back into it.  Really got my day started off on a positive note. 

I also tried an afternoon walk in my gumboots (again), but the rain and wind was just too fierce.  Went back home to sit in front of the fire and tap into a bit of homebrewed beer.  :)

Sore? Yeah, a bit.  It's been a while, and I'm very much out of shape.  That really upsets me--all that hard work for nought--but I'll not let it get me down.  I'll just try to stay positive and motivated, and soon I'll be back where I was...and better!

August is going to be a great month for me!
