Real Ryderz Keep My Ego in Check!
I am pretty fit in general. I have no problems in my cardio, bootcamp, rebounding, or yoga -type classes.
BUT I started spinning....it's like a new language for my muscles!
The Real Ryderz at Ride the Zone are AMAZING! Spin (ok) standing up (got it!) while the bike moves side-to-side (slowly getting it...) and NO HANDS (Wha?!?!) ?!?! Crazy. It is so challenging and yet I see others do it with ease. It's all in the core (that's what she says....) Hrmph!
As an aside, Wednesday, I tried to take my usual Bootcamp-type class (ELev8!) and found my muscles were aching - back, arms, core...I assumed it was yoga from Sunday, since I just started taking yoga again....well, in last night's spin class muscle memory hit -- turns out - I was sore Wednesday from the previous FRIDAY's spin class!!!! HOLY soreness!
I am so on my way to my summer FEAT! I WILL BE A SPIN ADDICT!
