Workout
Night swim
Morning workout, evening swim. Great!
I overslept by a few minutes (really? First time in months), so my workout was a bit short. Still, it was energizing. Plus, I met my mum for some $1 oatmeal from Jamba Juice (yum! highly recommended!), so I was thoroughly fueled for hours.
Gym time -
Elliptical - 38 minutes
Stretching - 10 minutes
Later, I made it to the U of Chicago pool for a great lap swim. In middle and high school, I'd hit the pool twice a week with my brothers, then in college I swam once in a while to relax. But I hadn't been since the summer, and somehow I always think I'll lose the ability to breathe and give myself choking fits in the water.
Not so; actually, the swim was exhilarating!
