Workout
Summer Day 64, I think there are no more feats I can accomplish.
7am Spin...Where is James P?! I noticed his name was crossed off on the sign in sheet, I was tempted to hop on the treadmill or elliptical instead...but I did wake myself up in time for spin and I thought I might bump into pjs...which I did! But I did not love the class. I didn't really understand what was goin on for most of it and I was daydreaming about Capoeira combos the whole time. I very much missed James P's awesome playlists this morning. Que kawawa.
4pm Kettlebells, I went heavier today because I did not make class last Saturday and will not be making it this Saturday either. Snatches again, which I still find challenging and scary. During circuits we did suitcase lifts, goblet squats and hot potato.
5pm Muay Thai, pad work. I tried to partner with my regular partner, FSG (fun skinny girl) as to avoid having to partner with HHSP (heavy handed south paw) who is nice but kinda weird and also not good at holding pads and kicks weird and it is kinda painful. BUT I actually got partnered by the coach with one of the blue graded chicks. She is awesome and gave me a serious workout. Serious padwork.
6pm Arnis. I like this better when D teaches it bc its simple and I get it. I am always lost!
7:15pm Capoeira in BK. I was exhausted by the time I got there. We did basic kick reviews and then did esquiva to martelo. Good play in the roda today, mostly playing with my instructor since not many people came to class today.

breakfast: 1/3 cup of oatmeal w/whole milk, cinnamon, almonds, flax, strawberries and blue berries. 2 slices of raisin walnut bread w/cream cheese
lunch: starbucks fruit and cheese plate w/mocha frapp
snack: 2 slices of raisin walnut bread w/cream cheese
dinner: 1/2 chicken quesadilla w/lemonade and grilled corn w/mexican cheese
I am so BEAT. I hope to do some yoga tomorrow to fix all of the pain that is about to come on.
