Workout
10 minutes more
Sun salutations then a 10 minute run this morning - same as yesterday. It may not sound like much, but I'm proud to start running in the mornings again even though I work in the fields all day. I plan to work my way up from this small bit of running, but it's nice to start building a routine.
Workout
What to do when you find a live blue crab in the street
Run the block home, grab your camera and steel wool glove, and run back. Take a photo, then pick the crab up and run home. Make a delicious breakfast.
In addition to those three blocks of running, I went for a 3 mile run today.
Workout
30 minute run
Although I didn't go nearly as far as I used to in that half hour, still got 30 minutes of sweating in this morning! Not bad after a 40 hour work week of farming and 12 hours of commuting.
Workout
Back in Action
Not that I've been sedentary.
I've been working as a laborer at an organic farm. I love that my new job has allowed me to escape the office chair. I love that I come home sore. (Although, I do feel my body adapting and farmwork gets a little easier each week.)
I just did 25 more minutes of Running and Walking!
I just did 58 more minutes of Running and Walking!
I just did 17 more minutes of Running and Walking!
Workout
back and forth
i was going to title this post "back at it" or "i'm back" but i think i've used those before. it seems i am often falling out of working out and then hopping back on the bandwagon. i'm not concerned as long as i always get back on!

yay, husband!
i have not tried to convince my husband to go for a run with me since the last half marathon i ran in...he also signed up so we could train together, but bailed on the plan after the 7 miler.
Workout
this is what the world is for, making electricity
a weekend of extremes included a spontaneous 60 minute run. i started running and felt great, so kept going until i realized an hour had passed.

happy friday
In which this week's featured body, syrupandhoney, enjoys the glories of rice pudding for multiple meals in one day.
30 minute run, powered by the Black Keys. I love being plugged again!
I have to work today but my husband is off, so I'm meeting him at an Indian restaurant for a long lunch date. I was excited about that bright spot in my day when preparing my breakfast this morning, so my oats were inspired by Indian rice pudding.

That tomato sauce recipe is delicious even if the photo is unappetizing. Love you guys! Still visiting every day even though I'm not posting workouts.

sweet! i mean, i'm not planning to start and stop my stop watch every time i get up to go to the copier or anthing...but i do take intentional walks during the day to get out of the office. since the purpose is primarily to move my body (with side benefits such as clearing my mind), i'm definitely counting those!
