I just did 160 more minutes of Running and Walking!
I just did 90 more minutes of Running and Walking!
Workout
Half or Full?!
So I think I want to run the Mardi Gras Rock 'n' Roll. My sister lives in New Orleans, so I'd have someone to stay with, and I found cheap flights... But now the question is: do I want to run another half marathon, or do I want to be completely insane and go for the full?
I just did 10 more minutes of Weightlifting, Circuit Training & CrossFit!

Workout
I miss long runs!
Seriously, someone give me a half marathon for which to train.
Did 6 miles today, but I'm looking for an excuse to do more. :)

Workout
Thank goodness I [m]log with pen and paper.
I have been a terrible virtual mlogger lately! I apologize. Some SW accountability partner needs to get on my case.
Good thing I actually log my workouts in my day planner, otherwise we'd be in trouble. But I'm about to add a whole lot of minutes. Since I last mlogged, I've run 23 miles. Some of them have been excellent. Some have been marred by hangovers. Such is life.
Workout
Lots o' runnin'
Thursday: 4 miles
Sunday: 5 miles
Today: 3 FAST miles
Delicious.
Workout
Finally, a fantastic run!
I guess maybe I just needed to post about how boring my workouts had become in order to finally break through that wall, because yesterday I had an excellent run. It was an interval workout on the treadmill (my fave kind of run), and I just felt really strong and fast. I varied the intervals between 6.5, 7.0, and 7.5, which is much faster than I've been running lately.
Workout
I've been waiting for my exciting title...
... but my workouts have been rather standard lately. I've been doing maintenance on the running front -- not trying to get faster, but trying not to lose any speed or endurance either -- and squeezing in yoga and strength whenever possible. I just did a sweeping update of minutes, but I have little in the way of fantastic workout news to report.
Workout
Catching up again!
I have been a BAD mlogger lately. But still getting those minutes in!
Workout
we don't need to go to bikram for hot yoga.
No A/C + living room yoga = SUPER HOT YOGA.
Did my all-time favorite Yoga Download, Shoulder Opener #1. Leaves me feeling good all day, every single time.
And ended up with a very sweaty mat. Yum.
Workout
I need a week of little to no excitement.
Things have been too crazy lately, and I'm for sure not getting enough sleep. Can we get a sleep challenge up in here?
Was supposed to run 6 miles yesterday and only made it to 3 because I was freaking exhausted. I'm surprised I even got my legs to run at all. So hooray for that?

Alright, if I register for the Staten Island half (which is October 10th, so far enough out to get some training in), I think you should too. Bronx half is this weekend. I'm looking for a challenge, but I'm not crazy. :)

You are brave. I always enjoy sans-ipod runs more during and afterward, but I can rarely psych myself up enough to leave the ipod behind. Perhaps I will think of you for inspiration next time...

I love love love my Nike+! Thank you for reminding me how wonderful this tiny piece of technology is... I stopped using mine when I got a Garmin, but, honestly, I think I like the Nike+ better for normal training runs... My favorite thing about it is that you can set it up so that it tells you how many miles you've completed every mile. That always keeps me going. I think I'm definitely going to hop off the Garmin train and back on the Nike+ train...
And, Twinklefee, I never had the shoe. I didn't even have a pouch. I always just slip it under the laces of my shoe, and it stays put!

Word. I am also on the fence about Losing It. It will never take the place of Biggest Loser in my heart. But download her old radio shows -- they are awesome!

I don't know about this. I eat chocolate at least once, usually twice or three times, every single day, and I'm a ridiculously happy person. I don't eat crappy chocolate though. Maybe they should look into the correlation between Kit Kat-quality chocolate and depression rather than giving much healthier types of dark chocolate a bad rap. Thoughts?

I thought everyone abided by the 'if you give, you can remove' rule. Common knowledge, Men's Health. Get with it.

p.s. I am unintentionally holding your hat hostage! I think this means we need to make a hula hooping date, stat.

I agree with abstaining from incidentals. You never really want them, and you rarely remember them after. They are like the drunken one night stand of food consumption.
