HELLO
SeryiStar

New York, New York
Did it!
will post the total # of hours soon.
This was tough but i got to see a few patterns in my dreams that was awesome. I usually dont remember my dreams but i noticed that when i fell asleep thinking ok im going to wake up and try to document my dream and didnt rush out of bed, i found myself remembering bits and pieces. Awesomeee =)
Wormless still
so i was really excited about starting out a worm bin but we kept getting mice and they climbed the most weirdest of places... (how did a mouse poop on top of the fridge?? ahhh i cant stand themm) so i definitely didnt want to add any other box/area they can disrupt. I just froze all natural foods that i was eating (veggies, fruits, peels) and then took them over to the local composting pick up.
Corner claimed
Livingroom corner holds 2 sets of dumbells and 2 mats (one yoga and one workout one to sweat on and beat up). Its behind a chair so it doesnt really take away from any "decoration" trends in the living room. I want to add resistance bands now, there's def room.
Still living!
Definitely the first living plant i've kept alive...ever and now i also have an orchid that i want to keep alive forever because its so gorgeous. Bonsai and Orchids, definitely gorgeous plants to start off with.
pretty room
still going! This has started a movement to add more personality and cleanliness to my room on a daily basis. Everyday im trying to keep up the doing the bed while at the same time cleaning/de-cluttering diff areas.
a few days
organizing, collecting, donating and deliverying food, clothes, toys and all sorts of supplies to be sent to an orphanage in the dominican republic (who is housing haitian orphans).
Cant wait for the center to receive everything that was collected!
standing up..stands the test
still standing up even though the challenge is done. This really added some positive moments at work and encouraged neighboring cubicles to join in.
piece of...veggies
love cooking at home and always did..this was pretty easy for me since im so fearful of restaurant foods.

Workout
Push ups, sit ups, push ups
Ouch! So i got lazy the last 2 weeks and had to make up 163 push ups and 148 sit ups/crunchamathingies on my last day, i was so exhausted i slept like a baby 30 minutes after finishing these.
I did it for the thousanddd
Workout
Yogalicious
Did 3 workouts, a sculpting class, restorative class, and vinyasa flow 2 (which really kicked my butt). That rocked my world
Great way to end the challenge.
Workout
at home quickie
I did a short The Firm workout when i got home b/c i needed to get SOMETHING in.
Workout
Jillian Michaels Level 2 @ Home...ok so thats not exciting but it was a Monday
25 mins of JM Level 2 workout @ home...barely burned 200 calories :(
Must work in some serious gym time this week in less days than usual (i think im only going to go about 3 times to the gym this week.. booo
Workout
Floating on Air...trainer that is
Wasnt feeling that well rested b/c of a bad night of sleep on Saturday but nevertheless woke up at 8:30 to head to the gym. I just tried a new machine, nothing special..the Air Trainer thing. It was pretty cool. It did the job: 45 minutes and burned about 400 calories....not bad.
On to the next one!
Workout
Martial Arts Conditioning...one word : OUCH
My upper body has never ached so much (mainly because i never do any weights or machines that focus this area haha) but yes, Martial Arts Conditioning, which is basically conditioning for Capoeira was super hard with so many squats and push up and jumping around and kicking that i felt a bit defeated afterwards...definitely got beat up by this class.
Workout
Cardio with my CrossTrainer...again!
So im obsessed with this machine ::shrug:: what can i say! worked out on it on Friday instead of going to a b-day party @ a bar (yeah..my alcohol free-ness wouldnt have loved the scene).
55 minutesss :)
Workout
Precor...hardcore...its true love
Love that damn machine!
Went to NYSC b/c of my present last night and got to use my fav machine. This is my homage to the machine. I
Workout
The Almost Forgotten Workout
Thursday night, overseeing an out of city day on Saturday, i worked out to Jillian Michaels. I Must admit i kinda didnt give it my all but i still burned 200 calories so ha! :)
Workout
Almost forgot
I definitely worked out Friday since i had the day off. I ended up doing Jillian Michaels Level 2 and then some Self workout i found on Netflix. It was pretty good and focused mainly on the upper body using free weights so i liked the different workout. That def inspired me to try out at least 1-2 different workouts per week.
Wish me luck!

Spinach protein smoothies are my favorite quick breakfast or dinner staples. I have one almost every day. My fav this week is my tropical spinach smoothie: 2 cups of spinach, few pieces of pineapple, few pieces of papaya, unsweetened almond milk, and vanilla protein = perfection. Def looks like super hero tonic. I cant wait to try the rest, specially the baked spinach balls and brownies. Spinacha rocks.

This sounds awesome...Whenever i hear a great "club popping" its like getting a little extra kick of energy. I stay on machines for longer than planned if a good song comes on...This should be in NY! Omg, Heidi this is for us. :(

I feel that it does count as an at home workout...since you are technically in a home and the amount of people around you when you work out is pretty minimal. You've already established your at home workout space therefore, as long as you're using this as well, you should be fine.
Keep up the good work, you rock!

apparently, most people @ the gym on a Saturday morning thought so as well because although the gym was relatively quiet/empty, these machines were all occupied! arg lol

lol i wish i had a twin sister... but indeed i did mean twin bed. It literally takes no more than 2 minutes to make a twin bed in the morning, and every week i change sheets so once a week it takes maybe 5-6 mins. The bigger your bed, the more discouraging it is, i feel. The hardest will be the Go Fish for me. Thanks for reading my feats!
