HELLO
Saucyd

Tea drinker, music maker, booty shaker, dream baker...I'm a funny little nugget with big hair.
Vancouver, Canada
Workout
Walkie Talkie
spent 3 hours walking around the U of T campus with a friend and then spent 30 minutes sprinting around Union Station. I like to think of yesterday as interval training. I was so tired, sweaty and unimpressed. I looked too cute to sweat. LOL!
Workout
Toronto=So much walking
Visiting Toronto for the next 3 weeks. Walked about 6 hours today.
Heck YA!!! I Am Kicking Soooo Much Butt!
Alrighty.....today I have officially lost 25.6lbs. Only 5.4 to go to reach my summer goal of 31lbs.
Rawr!
Workout
Memory Lane
It's kind of hilarious living in the same neighbourhood as your old highschool. I always see someone I know. Old teachers, a friend here or there. I get to see how all the 'cool kids' turned out. My highschool was a small private school on the East Side of town, although it was a 'private' school there was nothing fancy about it, just like the East Side of town.
Workout
habit: doing for the sake of doing
ok, today is a busy day. so i kind of dialed in my workout. 30 minutes, treadmill. i wish my heart were in it more (due to lack of sleep and still recovering from a night of drinking 2 days ago), but i'm glad that i went instead of sleeping in. i don't want to disrupt this exercise habit i've acquired.
i hope my body forgives me. tomorrow will be better.
Workout
a little extra push
I did 45 mins of cardio. i'm awesome! LOL! Sweating is really fun. Why does it give me so much satisfaction?
I just did 45 more minutes of Running and Walking!

Hi Peeps,
We're almost there! My personal goal is to reach 2000 minutes....what's yours? Anyways, it's been a while since I've posted a blog so I thought I'd give you a wee update. So far I have lost 22lbs and it feels great. I am 9lbs away from my summer goal which is to lose 31lbs or 10% of my body weight. Technically I have about 3 weeks to make that happen, but I'm willing to go easy on myself if I miss it by a a pound or two.
I'm really loving exercising and have begun to crave it. I notice the difference that it makes in my life and mind set. I always liked to move my body, but I always felt I had to do it in private and now that is not the case, The sense of shame and embarrasment has waned enough that the other day I went back to my gym after being away for a year and got another membership....and I've been going!
Workout
Lovin' it!
Today, I kicked it up a notch. 30 minutes of cardio, a little more resistance on the elliptical, a pushed a little harder for 30 minutes straight. I'm sort of getting why people run marathons....running is fun.

Lovely post. Grace is amazing in all it's forms. Grace is a teacher, a healer. It forgives and if we surrender to it, miracles can happen and we find moments of compassion, self love and we see who we truly are.
You are graceful and full of grace.

Good Luck! I have been seriously examining my relationship with food for about 3 months now and you are definitely right, planning is a huge part of it. Also, I've been writing down everything I eat and for me that has been the most helpful because it keeps me accountable and makes me pause before I put anything in my mouth. It's in those split seconds that I ask myself am I really hungry or just eating because I'm sad, stressed, bored etc...try it for a bit, it's been helpful. Never in my life would I have thought I'd be a person who craves exercise, writes down what she eats and loves eating salads, fruit and fish. It's so great!

Hang in there! I was in your shoes about a year ago and I have worked hard to get to the point where life is good. Can you talk to someone? That really helped me. Also, keep moving your body. Your light exercise will really help. Depression and funks thrive when we stop everything. Now is the time to take care of you. It might feel hard or uncomfortable, but taking action in small steps will really shift things for you. Invest in the process and not the outcome. You can do it. Let people know how you're feeling. They love you and want to see you feeling your best. The world needs you to be your shiny, thriving self.
Huzzah!

Lovely post. Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to mend my little heart right now too. I love the ritual that you created around your Saturday nights, it really made them sacred and you honoured yourself in such a wonderful way.
