Gettin' Dirty for a Cure
As part of my fundraising for the MS Society, I ran a boot camp-style 10K in the mud this past Saturday. It was awesome! I'm particularly grateful to my mom and uncle who woke up really early to cheer me on.

I'm running my first marathon this November (ING Marathon in NYC) for the MS Society. For motivation and to show donors what they are supporting, I decided to start blogging my training.
I love the pulse of NYC and feel particularly connected to it when I run. My log will be a love letter to this city as much as it documents my first marathon journey.

In anticipation of Crossfit
I start Crossfit's Elements class tonight. It lasts for three weeks and then I should know what all the Crossfit/Paleo enthusiasts are raving about!
