Accumulating massive sleep debt
90 minute samba class + mexican food after 10pm = complete inability to go to sleep at a normal hour.
So we caught up on Gossip Girl instead. Another short night of sleep (5-6 hours, instead of the normal 7-8), followed by 60 minutes of weightlifting, and a 45 minute bike commute.

Friday night, I biked home from the LES in the rain after having hung out at Arlene's Grocery for a few hours, soaked through my jeans from the ride there. When I got home I thought I was going to die. So, I downed a half bottle of Vitamin C and went to bed. I woke up hours later a brand new woman, and started my weekend with a couple episodes of Melrose Place and a visit with

Now that I've got my categories straight, I'm going to try to maintain my position as leader of the Cycling, Spinning, and Rowing category! My 90 minute round trip bike commute definitely helps here. I probably wouldn't have biked today (as it's getting colder and it might rain today) if not for this feat.

Confusing start
Having a hard time adjusting to thinking in terms of MINUTES. I can think in terms of reps, calories, feats, etc. -- but this minute thing is challenging (especially because I don't carry a phone/watch/time-telling device at the gym and the clocks at Crunch are all messed up).

Post-Passover cardio and the pull up that never was.
Did 45 minutes on the elliptical while watching "Charmed", but all the magic in the world couldn't help me complete my pullup feat this morning. I bottomed out at 30 pounds of weight assistance, threw in the white Crunch towel, and headed home.

Another upper body workout. Pretty sure I'm not getting that full body pullup. BUT... I noticed some new definition in my arms and back this morning. I'm on my way!

I agree, those pictures were for the most part unattractive. What's sexy about yoga is when it allows you to be natural and uninhibited. Staged yoga photos (even those that grace the cover of yoga journal and lululemon catalogs) just don't do it for me.
