Wonderful long workout
I really dig indulging in long workouts, when I don't have to be at work early! During these, I often try something new that, sometimes, is worthy of adding to everyday workouts.
Elliptical - 50 minutes
Treadmill - 1.3 miles
Weight machines - 10 minutes
Stretching - 10 minutes
Woohoo!

Night swim
Morning workout, evening swim. Great!
I overslept by a few minutes (really? First time in months), so my workout was a bit short. Still, it was energizing. Plus, I met my mum for some $1 oatmeal from Jamba Juice (yum! highly recommended!), so I was thoroughly fueled for hours.
Gym time -
Elliptical - 38 minutes
Stretching - 10 minutes

Bikram threw me off today
Hot yoga is usually a thrilling experience, but this class took it out of me, BIGtime.
Close to halfway through, during the standing poses, I became so dizzy and nauseous that I had to sit out a couple of my favorite poses :o/.
Workout
Smashing.
Elliptical - 40 minutes
Weight machines - 10 minutes
Stretching - 10 minutes
Steam room - 5 minutes
- loved this

Weight machines, 10 minutes
Stretching, 10 minutes
- slight strain on my left hamstring, but much less than before. It felt so good!

day 4 - twin guys at the gym
So there are twin brothers who have shown up at the gym on the last three trips I've made, each at a different time of day. They're identical, and they do identical workouts. These guys treadmill together, bike together, then lift a few weights together. I haven't met them yet, but they must be there twice a day! (And they must think the same of me.)
Coincidence? I hope not. ;o)

Day 3 - woo!
45 minutes on elliptical
- Raised the level two notches over regular level
- got off the machine with more positive energy
10 minutes stretching
- situps too!
- feeling a sharp strain on the straddle-stretch for about a month now, trying to ease out of it [never had this problem before!]
15-minute walk to work
- cold, breezy, refreshing!
Workout
Day 2 - shorter winter walk
'Brisk' 30-minute walk in cold weather! Brrrr
- eating minus sugars has been making me feel great!
Workout
Great start!
Elliptical for 43 minutes
- Great stamina/strength-building
Treadmill for 12 minutes at varying speeds, 1.1 miles
- Woohoo! My lungs needed that aerobic activity!
Cool down stretching for 5 minutes
- situps, splits and stretching all over
- short spurts, sweet spurts

Try this with bath salts! I get 'em from the great bulk bath salt bins at a Whole Foods Market near my apartment!
