I'm baaaack!
measured my waist totally expecting to see added inches after my bad week start, and instead found out that I lost 1inch!! how did that happen??
Anyways, i was so inspired that i did two back to back classes and then ran 1.5 miles, fast!
Feeling like a champ!

Eh... at least I went in
Felt bad about my pigging out with mom and tried to get back on the wagon. problem is, i felt so heavy and bloated that even just lugging myself to the gym was a chore. i barely worked out while there... although the little that i did made me feel better... still, not proud of myself.

My mom came into town Monday evening for 24 hours and managed to convinve me to spend the night with her at her hotel. I hate spending nights away from my husband, so this was a true testament of my love for her.

OK - I suck. I have no rythm... I even got called out by the teacher for messing up the rest of the class. Great start to my week! But what a workout. I'm actually pretty pooped after today. Thinking I'll take it easy tomorrow.
Got tons of clients to meet, christmas shopping to get done, and the trip to finish planning for... Gonna need all my steam

Getting some abs in
Got in a regular Kick Some Abs class in... but it was led by my favorite instructor. She really does kick some abs. I guess I like her no frills approach to working out, whatever it is - I end up giving it more than I do at other classes.

Zumba!
Decided to try something new with my friend and went to a Zumba class. All uncoordinated-ness aside... it was fun! And challenging. After only 45minutes, I definately felt like a I got a good workout in. I think I'll do it again especially as it breaks up my regular hum drum cardio classes.

Grrr... Most frustrating workout award goes too...
Today's instructor didn't show up - instead, on of the regular staff led the class and she sucked! I guess I shouldn't be so hard on someone who doesn't do this regularly, but I didn't really feel like I got a workout in from her at all.

Bhangra workout? Hell Yeah!
Hit the gym for an Interval Training class, and instead, the teacher hit us with some awesome Bhangra music. It was like being in the chorus line of a Bollywood movie. So totally awesome that between laughing and really getting into it, I was totally sweating by the time I left...
Other plus - scale tipped at 125lbs today...

Back to back!
Hit the best class ever! This little guy doing high intensity latin dance moves with SO much pizazz that you couldn't help but be drenched in sweat trying to keep up. THat - and, by mid class, pretty much everyone was cracking up. My hips and butt were burning, and I realize that my inner cha cha is missing it's dose of rythm. Still... can't wait for next weeks' session.

Guilt stepping...
Went in for an early am class at the gym and walked in to a very sad looking instructor. Turns out my normally bombastic and cheerful teacher's brother passed away over the weekend.
I was so impressed at his dedication that I stepped up a storm, not allowing myself to cut any corners. Feel really bad for him and his family though. Hope they find peace.

Stairs
Did 30 mins of high intensity stair climbing at the gym. I managed to break a sweat and huff and puff a little at the end, and then pushed it some more by hitting the elliptical the way my hubby told me to: at a high enough level that I felt like I needed to use my arms to get the thing rolling. It kicked my butt!!!

Yay for Zumba!! Definately enjoyed the class but I pigged out after... so it kind of negated my efforts! Let's give capoiera a shot next :) And belly dancing after that! I like the dance workouts better too!
