Long lovely workout!
So today I went all in. I dropped my stuff off at the gym and ran from 4th and Lafayett. To the Beooklyn Bridge, went over the bridge and ran back. I was too early for my abs and Chisel class so I hopped in the insanely intense step class with Tina, then sid abs and weights. Yeah, so it was an active day. I ate right too...so hopefully I can keep That up!

My attempt at a pull up was laughable. I
worry this will be an impediment to completing the challenge :(

Tuesday Spinning
Got on the saddle and did some "drills," nothing too exciting. I realized that spinning really helps me with running though. During the half marathon while going up the hills, my legs totally cooperated and I know it's because of time on the bike (I haven't done much hill running). The speed drills also help with sprinting...

I did it...and I never walked (taken from Haruki Murakami in "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running"). 2 hours and 20 minutes.

...at least that's what Carl told us today in Chisel class. Summe is here and he also said that means: "No more hot food" and "If you want ice cream, eat yogurt.". Haha... Gotta love it (and "live" it according to te correction my iPhone just self made).

Intense Yoga
Though I didn't get to run outside yesterday like I imagined (I forgot my sneakers at work...), I was able to take a 90 minute "extreme" yoga class at Lafayette yesterday afternoon. One o my new year's resolutions was to learn how to do the "hard" yoga stuff.

BOING Kangoo!
Tonight I finally got to try the new Boing with Kangoo shoes work out at Crunch. It was awesome!! So much fun and intense! I want to do I again definitely. You learn a choreographed number to pop music and it's really energizing and fun.

Carl was absent so we had a sub for our Chisel class today. He was intense!! ..or I need to get risd of some pounds....
I did get a big chun. Of sit ups and squats out of the way...still concerned about pull up...and reaching 1,000 push ups, to be Honest! I want to complete the challenge but it's gonna be tough.

Thanks, Oliver. I'm off next week so I'm gonna do my own sort of makeshift yoga "retreat" in the city.... gonna use a week Bikram pass and go to extra yoga classes at the gym because I'll have time. Thanks for the support ;)

I think this is a great idea for the challenge. I'm not making it my DIY (though I probably should) but I'm making a conscious effort to get to bed earlier....
