I DID IT, MOTHERF$&@(KERS!!!! Workout 26!!!
I did it, I did it, I did it! Much credit to BOWC to keeping me motivated this month! Even while traveling on business! It's been tough, but worth it.
Thanks, BOWC.
Today's workout:
Treadmill: 30 min. 3.8-5 mph
Weight training: 10 min (quick resistance work)
Stretching: 5 min.
Word!
Workout 25 - At it again
Got in a quick workout early this morning, though not as long of a workout as I would have liked.
I worked out at the hotel gym last night, and had to get my workday started early this morning. Hey - we do what we can with what we have, and what I have is a ridiculous amount of dedication due to my commitment to BOWC.
Today's workout
Treadmill: 20 min 3mph
Workout 24 - Dedication to Miami max
My plane touched down in Miami at 10:20 tonight, and I was on the treadmill at the hotel gym an hour later. I'm literally logging this from the treadmill on my phone. Another 10 min, just wanted to enter this before midnight.
Today's workout: treadmill 45 min. 3.5 mph-4.4 mph
Workout 23 - Pulling through - 3 to go!
Today was boring. As I mentioned yesterday, I have a business trip to Miami tomorrow through Friday. As a bi-racial woman, my challenges right now include keeping my hair nice despite the heat for a Thursday meeting :)
So, today's workout:
Walking around Bryant Park: 30 min
Abs: 10 min. tonight between all the packing
Workout 22
Another day of walking. Most of my remaining workouts will be walking, as I have a business trip to Miami coming up and, beyond walking on the beach, do not know what my other options will be.
Today's workout:
Walking - 45 min.
Workout 21 - Live, from the beer gardens
I'm logging this from my iPhone since I've been out all day. Actually at the beer gardens in Queens :)
Today's workout:
Walking: 1.5 hours (all around prospect park and botanic gardens)
Workout #20 - Almost Therrrrrrrre!!!
Wow. I even impressed myself today. I've been running around like a maniac this week. Here's the week at a glance:
Sunday - 7 course menu with cocktail pairings with A Razor, A Shiny Knife
Monday night - Alumni club meetup with area alum from my undergrad
Tues night - Dinner and drinks with a coworker for her bday
Workout 19
Lame workout this morning at home, due to laptop issues, but a workout nonetheless. Had a late night, and had to prepare at home for another late night tonight, so again I'm just squeezing in what I can.
Pilates: 30 min. (Stott core challenge)
Workout 18
Doing everything I can just to get it done. Late nights every night this week.
Todays' workout:
Elliptical: 45 min level 9-14
Stretching: 10 min.
Workout 17
Got up early and got that workout in, even though I had a busy day ahead. Motivated by my success to date, and want more success to come. Plus, I had evening plans that involved a seven-course dinner, each with a sweet element and paired with a cocktail. Yep, have to work hard to be able to eat/drink that way and stay in shape :)
Today's workout:
Walking: 1 hour

I'm leaving for a business trip as well. Gone tomorrow night - Friday. My hotel does have a gym, and I'll be walking on the beach for the remainder of my workouts. Not a bad reward for sticking it out.
Keep it up!

I recently discovered TA, too, and this girl is LEGIT! I hear she's also running classes at Reebok / Sports Club LA, and opening her own gym here soon.
I've done the butt & thighs webisode twice this week, and it is gonna make a difference if I keep it up. Considering getting her mat dvd as well.

Oh my God. It's on;y day 7. Shoot me. (It's that time next week, and my overwhelming monthly exhaustion is starting to kick in.)

I wanted to take today off, too, but that means I would have to work out all 7 days during one of the remaining weeks this month. Yuck!
Will be hitting my pilates DVDs after I get home.

Just saw your comments. I think it's awesome to make Jack's bday your goal for getting back in shape. I think when I'm a mom, my main motivation for being healthy will be in order to be a good example for my children, and so I can keep up with them! (Not to mention for my husband.)
Will be different from my motivation now - which is to be in my own personal best shape, just for me. Keep it up, girl!

I also need to invest in another pair of kicks so I can workout at home in Bklyn over the weekend. (I keep mine in my locker at the gym near my office in midtown - where I refuse to go on weekends). Nice job with the dedication here.
