Well that explains what I ate at work and how my workout went. Yuck. Complete regret both. Sluggish for sure. I did run around the restaurant so I only managed to fit in a 30 minute cardio sess. Time to step it up! Huge workout of cardio and weights tomorrow...stay tuned.

"You Punch Like A Girl"
...well I am so I can't get toooo offended, but thanks trainer _____ ! My actual trainer Manny was great switching it up with combinations, exercises, abs and pull-ups to work on my non-existent upper body strength. :) The hour seemed like two because I was a bit tired, but i still enjoyed every minute of it.

"You're here so much what did they give you a job?!"
...this is what a fellow gym-goer said to me today as I was standing behind the trainers desk checking my Exerspy. I have burned almost 2,600 calories today with an intake of 1,200. Definitely burning the lb's today! I focused on more protein and lower calories foods such as romaine lettuce turkey wraps and broccoli.

I've had my fair share of cardio that it's definitely time to hit the weights. I have been focusing on getting lean and tone. I wish I could trainer with Manny, my boxing trainer, more than once a week. Knowing that's not possible at the moment I decided to do it on my own.

Not like a Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Everyone looking around at each other, anxious to get out of the office to start the weekend of drinking. The glass of wine sounded even more appealing after our staff lunch of italian. Instead of putting myself in serious danger, because there is no doubt I would do a face plant, if I had drank and attempted to hit the treadmill.

Do you hate having your ipod restrict you while you're running on the treadmill? Is it this bulking on your arm holding you back? Do you have an ipod shuffle? If so, my friend in CO has designed a "no-wire" headphones. I think apple has come out with their own versions, which I have never tried because I'm hooked on these! Check 'em out at arriva.com.

Addicting, Addicting, Addicting. I never actually knew how many calories I burned daily until the expersy. I hardly notice it on my left arm although it is bulkier than other brands.

4 Inch Heels to High Top Pumas
I'm 5'10" and not afraid to wear high heels! Why not give myself a little extra work out and throw on the platforms this morning. Don't be mistaken, I'm definitely your typical tomboy. I'm most comfy in gym clothes so it was easy to ditch the heels to throw on my baggy sweats and high tops.

So I can give you all the excuses in the book of why I have worked out only twice in the past week....I've been sick, I've had work, I've had meetings, I've had friends in town, but really I just took a break. I was talking with a friend after work today explaining why I couldn't make a dance rehearsal and again it was because I was sick.

well when you can't get to the gym because you have 9 people to show around the city, why not walk it out. definitely not my ideal workout, but we walked a good 50 blocks. sometimes its good to be a little old school and take in the city during the holiday season.

me too! nice u just do a weekly weigh in. i tend to do it more often I think my body is still processing food from the day before. the holidays were a good example of this as I gained 4 pounds in 2 days and lost it in another 2. thinking mon morning weigh ins will be good and help be have a more healthy weekend.

indeed. providing i stay away from sweets and wine on the weekends!
ohh and i did get a fitbit update/tutorial...you can track your calorie intake with their online program. he is waiting for the iphone/blackberry app just like i am w/ the exerspy!
I think it all comes down to what you get used to. obviously crunch pushes the exerspy b/c of their program/partnership and clients who already use dotME it is convenient. you can save $100-200 by going with another version.
I just found the fancy graphs to help view your activity and sleep pattern...where it spikes in moderate/vigorous movement. :)
I guess I'm not one for directions...

so i hear. yes slightly addicting, but really helpful with knowing how many calories you burn!! logging all the food has got me cook all my meals (minus today's soup and sammy) just so I know what's going into everything.

nothing like waiting til the last day to get in my 10th feat.
i thank my brother for starting up a snowball fight after leaving the frick collection. i'm not sure anyone on the streets of the UES were to thrilled with our behavior, but all in good fun!

with my obvious PB obsession I just checked out Peanut Butter & Co.'s website. I grew up on fluffenutter....ohh nothing like bringing back the elementary school lunches! I think there are much worse dinners to have! You have just the right about of sugar and some yummy protein, the greens...other than not being on whole grains, works for me! Great now I'm craving that...oo or the Peanut Butter Cup or The Elvis sound awfully tempting.
