energy Ride With Carl Hall- this class was absolutely exhausting. very fast paced and sure to have leave the class drenched in sweat
Beach Body workout with Carl Hall Amazing. Concentration was on arms and shoulders- I was sore for 3 days
Avoiding angry work outs today. I hate when work drama comes home with me. Like I had such an annoying night at work. Some people are so busy playing with their iphones and most are just completely unaware that other people have to juggle many tasks while at the same time still being courteous and diplomatic towards them despite their constant unawareness.
Eat PLAY and Love :) I missed my favorite yoga class because I had an appt. made it to the Eat Pray Love class at Lafayette. UHM weird. But kinda good. Slower and restorative. She reads passage from the book which I don't mind bc they're not weird or chanty. She also teaches a sequence and then has the class go through it a few times in silence, which is cool. Some pull up training and bag work.
Pull up training and more stretching. Feeling sore and creaky I decided to go in the gym early for a Yoga class. Saw a Virgin Yoga class and thought it might be nice and restorative for me.
Sometimes I wake up early and have nothing else to do! NOW THIS was supposed to be my rest day. A rare Sunday off. Nope. Got up at 7am and did a crappy slow run around Madison Park. Wasn't enough so I went to Yoga. It wasn't a super hard class, was just what I was looking for.
Last Summer class I'll be in Boston all week next week, which I'm kind of pissed about coz I'll miss the first week of Fall classes at Crunch. I'm so excited about the new classes I'll for sure take regularly.
It's really Contemporary, not Street Jazz Einat, who usually teaches Antigravity Yoga at 38th St., subbed for Nadia's usual "Street Jazz" slot. I don't know if it's because of the holiday sched or the sub, but the class hasn't been horrendously packed like it usually is when Nadia's around.
Sharing Yoga practice Hadn't been to Ambyr's yoga class in a really long time. Its one of the awesome ones. I went early and did a 3 mile interval run. Been trying to slowly increase my speed and distance on my runs. Its so brutally boring, which makes it difficult for me. Then did 20 min of bag work. Working on my switch kicks.
Best Spin Class in a While I think I found my first favorite class at Crunch. Karen's 7:15 Spin at Lafayette... mind-blowingly good arm workout!!!
I walked out (and I feel great) I think the more I walk out on subs the easier it gets. But really I don't need to feel bad. Right? It's my workout thats lost if I stay in a class I don't enjoy.
I'm so New York Yep, I pulled a full day of work yesterday, hit up a spin class and went on an online date (well a second date). I then spent an hour trying to get home from the village while eating a slice of pizza due to the miscommunication of an 8 o'clock date being drinks not dinner. Hey gents- anticipate dinner if you know I am coming straight from the gym and don't make me eat alone.
worst spot in the room I was running a bit late to Buff Yoga today. I came in just as Jess was starting, but the room was full and my regular spot was taken. I had to go to the back. I always thought I would like the back because then Jess wouldn't call me out and I could take a break when I needed, but I hated it.
... My plan was to leave at 6pm and get to Lafayette with plenty of time before Cycology with Tomas at 7:15pm. The newspaper I've been working for was supposed to be ready by 4pm. I had it done at 3:20pm. But then changes started coming in. And I couldn't send it to the printer until I got approval from everyone who is involved in this thing. Seriously, it is so unorganized.
I was only allowed to get a mani pedi if I went to the gym first So I did. My fave - Lite FM Elliptical, which turned into "Perv out on Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt in Mr. & Mrs. Smith on TV 5" Elliptical. I cranked the incline up to the max so my lust could help me climb every mountain. Looking around the men at the gym, I had two thoughts: 1) What the hell happened to Mohawk??
Real Jobs with Real Deadlines are Stressful After a year and a half of unemployment (and passively looking for a job), two jobs literally fell into my lap in the last three weeks. The first was when I went out with a friend who brought her friend who discovered I was a graphic designer after overhearing my conversation with someone else (still following?). She herself is a graphic designer and was looking for someone to help her out.
Albatrosses A quick 2 miles before Yoga class at 8am. Decided that since I'm focusing more on Yoga this week to skip Muay Thai at noon and go for a walk and have lunch with my cousin instead.
Soon I will be Buffer than Buff Yoga I took Jess' Buff Yoga class yesterday to kick off the "New Year," as it were. Jess is indeed Yummy and delcious. I struggled mightily through the core exercises.
I'm back to my crazy workout self At least for today. Although it wasn't supposed to be that way. I skipped Buff Yoga today (the one day Von Hottie decides to go) and instead planned to take Chisel at 5pm with Marc. The reason: I planned on going to movie night at Pier 54 with friends. Movie starts at 8:30. Last week we left Brooklyn at 6:30 and had to sit really far back.
