SW-e-AT
What exactly is Sw-e-at?
I just joined Social Work in mid-October and I'd like to know more about "Sw-e-at". I always see it in the hot tags, and when I clicked on that, the word "sw-e-at" is just mentioned as a part of a post. Was it a challenge? Is it a class? I find it intriguing and I'd like to know more about it.

The Big 2-0
I hopped on the trainer yesterday morning at 5:45 a.m. to bike for 45 minutes. Apparently, (and I should have known this) I woke up our super who lives right below us. He heard the bike whirring and asked my partner later in the day if we have a "machine." My partner informed me that biking in the living room "may not be a morning activity."
Oooops.

After a long day of corporate conference food (when the chicken and the cheesecake basically taste the same) and executives droning on about "trust" and "transparency", making absurd comments like "what does transparency even mean?" (tip: it means that your investors understand how you make money, you don't lie, and when there are problems you come clean...) it was good to eat

Ankles and Artichokes
I couldn't find fresh artichokes at the store, but I did find marinated artichoke hearts and ate them in a salad using my last farm share lettuce (boooo!). I stretched my ankles on that blue ankle/calf stretcher thing at the gym, then re-introduced myself to my Wii Fit and did some balance games (penguin fish catch and the river bubble). Just one more SW-e-AT to go!!

Raw artichokes are pretty good
Here is how I worked out my ankles on Monday:
- rocking 3 and a half inch missoni heels an running around midtown
- running a couple of miles
- doing 3 sets of 20 tricep curls and then 3 sets of 20 bicep curls, while doing squats on a bosu trainer
- wedging myself against a balance ball in lots of positions for ab exercises that still hurt me today.
oh, I figured it out. is this still going on though?
