Kettlebells again!
Again skipped cardio. Did some great padwork in Muay Thai class then 20min of lazy cardio cause of my knee and then an hr of kettlebells. I went super light with the weights this time because I refused to be sore again! Though I did feel it already afterwards.

After a full rest day
Sunday I rested. OK I didnt sleep enough. BC was throwing up after his fight and our other friend got knocked out. So it took a while to leave the venue. By the time we got home it was almost 3am. But somehow we woke up early Sunday morning...Finally went outside around noon and then went to the movies. Came home and napped, then went for after fight bonchon.

Chinese food kills my healthy eating!
My friend subbed Kettlebells class today. First time I did 2 handed pulls and also 1 handed pulls. Kinda hard actually. But I can feel the pain, so I know i did them right!

...taken Kettlebells before a 5 hour Kali seminar. But I did and the class was super fun but super brutal.

Way too much touching for my Saturday Yoga.
Its been a while since I did kettlebells! I really pushed myself today deadlifting and swinging my max. It was a fun class even though us girls lost the contest AGAIN. I tried Yoga at the gym and was disappointed. I tried so hard not to be mad at all the touching but its like she wasn't even trying to go for any verbal instruction. It was, quite honestly, an obscene amount of touching.

Tuesday full body, but mostly legs
Workout at the fancy new gym that I only pay $15/mo. for:
-15 min. cardio warm-up
-power cleans: 5 x 135, 5 x 155, 3 x 185, 3 x 185
- 4 x 5 squats, @ 135,155,185,185
- lunges, 2 x 12, with 30 lb weights in hand
- 2 handed Kettlebell swings @ 70 lbs (ish, I can't remember exact weight), 2 x 10
- misc ab stuff: crunches, leg raises, etc

If an amputee can do Capoeira, so can you!
2 things are cool about this image of my Capoeira Batizado this year...1- Everyone is wearing my t-shirt design! 2-Check out the guy in the middle of the Roda (circle). He's an amputee!!!! Guess what? He is one of the highest cords in my whole group -he holds classes and teaches! Isn't that insanely awesome?
