Prana Power Yoga Steal of a Deal
Longtime readers may recall that I'm a little nuts for Prana Power Yoga. Should you care to check out what I think is one of the best yoga studios in the city, you're in luck. Today's NYC Groupon is two-weeks of unlimited yoga or a five-class pass at the studio for $30.

Groupon is trying to ruin this challenge for me!
I mentioned in a previous post that Groupon, a deal site in Chicago that offers a ridiculously discounted service/gift certificate/etc to a different business every day (and has now expanded to other cities) is ruining my love of CorePower Yoga.

Web Geeks Never Pay Full Retail for Pole Dancing
Listen up technophobes and Twitter reactionaries: The web is increasingly filled with clever ways to save money on premium brand fitness. New Year's Edition challengers have been spotting these all week, and we've decided to start rounding them up, along with any other, physical world, deals we stumble upon. Without further ado, today's Web 2.0 fitness haul:
- Gilt, the super hot Internet version of Sam's Club, is selling massages and fitness classes from Exhale NY, Chicago, and beyond for, like, one third off. Sale ends Monday! (Yes, you arleady missed the clearance on Blue Print Cleanses.)
- Groupon, the webified version of your old grocery coupon pages, has a 50% discount on pole dancing at the very authentic New York Pole Dancing. Check it!
Enjoy, or don't. But we'll keep trolling the coupon pages so you don't have to. Happy Friday.

Pilates: Take 1
I bought a Groupon (www.groupon.com) for 3 pilates classes at re:AB Pilates Studio in SoHo, so I decided to try it out this weekend. Fine, let's be honest, I'd been putting off trying it out because I was terrified. I'd never done pilates before, and I was just plain old intimidated. But I kept my chin up and bravely entered my first pilates class. And... it was EASY.
