I am becoming a machine. Plus, flog #2.

Back at the gym tonight, pumped out another four miles. I'm definitely starting to feel faster and stronger -- finally. It's been a slow progression, and I know I have a long way to go, but sometimes it's nice to pause and just be proud of where you are. You know?

Day 12: It's Flog, Flog, Flog!

After an overall great weekend capped off with another Colts victory it's time for a new week and to tackle new feats. This week I'm gonna try to do the Flog Feat and possibly the Localvore Feat if I can get to the Farmer's Market sometime this week.

Day 1 of the Flog Feat

1 bowl of cereal w/milk approx. 300 calories
1 cup of Tazo Organic Spicy Ginger Tea 0 calories

Breakfast: Oatmeal with almond butter, almonds, carob chips, and cinnamon; coffee with almond milk (just noticed the almond theme...)
Pre-run snack: Mini banana oat muffin with a schmear of cinnamon raisin peanut butter
Post-run snack (hey, I did eleven miles, I was hungry): toasted Arnold sandwich thin with a schmear of Sabra hummus; banana smoothie with berry amazing meal

My smoothie. I like chocolate amazing meal better, but I had a free sample packet of berry. It was okay.

Saturday Flog

No workout yesterday, but I did have lots of good foods and spent time with friends.

vegan pancake batter - I had some left over and figured it was safe w/ no eggs, and I really meant to just eat one spoonful and then make oatmeal instead, but found myself mindlessly eating it as I was checking my e-mail this morning so decided just the batter was a bit disgusting and more than enough for breakfast....
