Day 43 - back to ballet
Hip has been pestering me (people--it's going to rain! Heed my word, this thing is so accurate it makes Storm Field look like a complete hack) but I went to ballet anyway. BAE is nice and I'm definitely getting a lot more of the basics when it comes to form, but I'm definitely looking forward to returning to Joffrey once their adult programs resume.
Workout
Feats of Summer - I know why some of those guy slam weights on the floor.
Faux Pas or not after my weight training routine I get it. On the bright side benched my body weight twice today. WOOT!
Workout
Feats of Summer - The Humidity Run
Did just under 4 miles in the gross humidity with MSH258.
Workout
Feats of Summer - Frogger Football Game 2
Did more Frogger football with Mike. Dropped more passes than I wanted to. Made some grabs that I did not think possible. Still pumped for Sunday.

Feats of Summer - I think Jess transported us to a different layer of HELL!!!!
Tuesday night is traditionally an early day workwise for me. Usually the clock turns six and I am out the door. I rush to Port Authority to catch a bus upstate to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. Yes! I, Killercadoogan am a D&D nerd.

Day 42 - Running out of clever headlines
Biked to/from work, wondered if the bike was at all responsible for my giant quads. Yeah, probably. I really wanted to go to ballet but figured it'd be better to push myself and went to the gym for a bootcamp class. Lots of push ups, lots of core work. Ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill after. Feeling it the next day.
Workout
Day 41 - Om for now, who knows what later
Didn't ride to work because of searing, miserable heat but got back to Brooklyn in time to catch an open vinyasa class at Greenhouse. Even in 94 degree heat is was more pleasant than bikram by country miles. We took it easy and I thought a lot about my exercise patterns. I tend to get into something, pour myself into it wholeheartedly and get burned out within six months.

FOS 19: Family Time
I took my Dad to spin class on Sunday.
Yes.
My dad's a pretty sporty guy. He occasionally crews on some 30-40 ft boats, runs 5 or 6 times a week. Not fit but sporty. I came home raving about the Team Ride on Saturday, so he figured he'd try it out.
I give him massive props for not getting off the bike, but he did stop.

FOS 18: Teamwork
Out in the Hamptons for the weekend, thought I'd rock a little Ride the Zone action, so i signed up for Marion and Holly's team ride....killer as usual. Loved the team motivation action (and an excuse to yell loudly for almost no reason at all). Also had a little celebrity sighting in the back of the class....EXCITING! Gotta love the Hamps.

Feats of Summer Challenge- Alls Faire in Love and War
Yesterday marketh the third weekend of Faire and I hath been getting into the swing of things. I was commissioned by one of her majestys musicians to sing Flight of the Conchords "A Kiss is Not of a Contract" to one of the queens suitors. At days end I could barely walk because I forgot to take procautions against the perils of chafing.
