Summer Day 56, I don't like my shin guards.
Hit the treadmill. 9minute mile!
1pm Muay Thai. Punch and roundhouse exchange. I need to improve my combos. UGH. Blocks are getting better, especially my parry's.
Got to BK surprisingly early! I thought the trains would be effed. Practiced headstands and handstands.

Summer Day 54, Friday YAY!
Wait...I work on the weekends. Pooh!
8am Muay Thai. My regular partner, TEAM PINK, did not come to class. I was prepared for an easy workout but, I was partnered with one of the guys who comes regularly Fri mornings so my workout was much harder! When TEAM PINK is not together Arjarn is harder on me and corrects me more...but strangely did not make fun of me today? Hrmm...

Summer Day 52, Thank you for not raining!
7am Sunrise Salutations. Haven't been in a couple of weeks and I missed it! Didn't do any chattarungas though bc of my bad shoulder. I stuck with knees, chest, chin w/baby cobra. I am so happy I am binding in pigeon for longer now too! Jumped on the treadmill for a bit after class as well.
Timed my headstand over 1 min today! YAY feat complete!

Summer Day 51, shoulder pain returns
4pm Kettlebells. I went super light today as to not overtrain. During teams, we lost again and we should have but some people are just uber slow, I don't get it?!
5pm Muay Thai. My partner didn't know how to hold pads really. And my shoulder was hurting and she was kicking mad hard but kicking upward...ugh I hate when people do that.

Summer Day 50, FEAT COMPLETE!
I am making a point to start running again, consistently. So I ran before class today, a lil over a mile for 15 min.
1pm Muay Thai, roundhouse, punch exchange. 93 sit-ups today!
3pm Capoeira. I totally pulled something in my right shoulder and my left shoulder ain't feeling so good. Tomorrow is probably gonna be a rest day. Maybe even include a massage!

Summer Day 47, 2x's on the Hudson.
Went rowing again with PJs. So fun! Even though the tide kept us from rowing very far, I was quite happy rowing circles in the cove...
Been sore all day and didn't make it to hot yoga...one day damnit, one day!

Summer Day 46, Ass beating
I miss spin! I must must must go next week.
This morning I worked on my plank since I am aiming for 1min, 30sec. Today I made it to 1 min, 12 sec. I think thats bad bc I remember timing it a few weeks ago at 1 min, 18 sec. Got to 18 push-ups. All this was a bad idea today, bc Tuesdays are the ultimate assault on my body.

Went to work in the AM and had a hectic day. UGH.
1pm Muay Thai. Clinch work. Lots of people in class today!
3pm Capoeira. Worked on queda de hins, au.
Planned on goin to the movies after work but ended up being a long night...

Summer Day 41, My body is mad at me.
OK I am totally sore. Like completely...there isn't one muscle left out of this. All of them! My body is so mad at me. I don't want to walk up any stairs. Yoga to the rescue! I just don't do too many chattarangas...knees, chest, chin. Stretching feels good! Balancing is always hard for me, but today, balancing poses were not really happening at all! It hurts to just stand or sit already!

Summer Day 40, Is summer almost over?
Wow, am I really that close to my 50 workouts? Is summer really almost over? I dont know that I will have time to complete all these day feats! Better get crackin'! Well I skipped spin today bc I am making a point to try to be nicer to my body. Even though...I totally assault it.
