Keep it Simple
It is nearly mid-December; the time of the year when booze, office Christmas cookies, ham sandwhiches and eggnog sneak their way into our diets. The media takes this opportunity to run advice articles on how to ward off the fattening, slothful season. Walk to work this month, drink a green juice once a day, take the stairs more often...etc. Let's be honest, sometimes there just isn't time to do anything or to think about anything that is good for us. Let's take this minute to remember to breathe. Research says deep breathing is one of the healthiest things we can do. Even if you do drink more and cram creamed donuts in your face this month, take deep breaths and you'll be calmer and enjoy your sinful behavior even more.
